Present perfect with SINCE and FOR.
Our LIFE EXPERIENCE start in the past…

I am in London (at the moment of speaking). => it’s the present, NOW.
I have been in London since Monday / for two weeks.
=> I’m still in London at the moment of speaking, but the action has started in the past.

Others examples:
I have lived in NYC since 1995. (I’m still living in NYC at the moment).
I have known him since I was ten.
We have been married for many years.
I have known him for a long time.

PRESENT PERFECT + SINCE / FOR :
The action has started in the past, and is still existing at the moment of speaking.
